 ELEMENTS OF A HOME INSPECTION

Inspections are performed in areas listed below. Areas not visible to the inspector, or where the moving of furniture or personal property, or where disassembly is required will not be inspected.

Structural Components: Roof structure and support, Foundation structure and support, Frame structure and support. Foundations, floors and walls.

Exterior Components:  Drainage, Siding, Windows, Doors, Porches, Patio, Deck, Guardrails and Hand Rails. ding, paint, windows, decks, drainage, garage doors, etc.

Roofing: Roof style, covering, flashings , flashings, chimneys, etc.

Plumbing: Piping, fixtures, faucets, water heating and fuel storage systems, etc.

Electrical: Wiring, main service panels, conductors, switches, receptacles, etc.

Heating: Equipment, safety controls, distribution systems, chimneys, etc.

Air Conditioning and Heat Pumps: Cooling and air-handling equipment, controls  and ducting, etc.

Interior: Partitions, ceilings, floors, railings, doors and windows, etc.

Insulation and Ventilation: Attics, walls, floors, foundations, kitchen and bathrooms, etc.
